Positioning Elements in the Scene View Manually
If you find that you need to reposition any element in the scene, from characters, to objects, to multiple choice questions (MCQs) and other UI elements, you can adjust the preset positions in the Scene View or create new custom positions.
Adjust Preset Positions: Moving the Object on the X,Y,Z planes
If you want to redefine or tweak the preset positions under the "Relative to Learner" list for a given scene, you may select the target icon next to the "Position" dropdown in the node you are working on. This will enable the positioning gizmo on the center of the element in the Scene View. This looks like a little blue box with blue, green, and red arrows pointing out of it. When you select one of the arrows, you can hold it and drag it back and forth on the plane that aligns with the directionality of the arrow.
Adjusting Pre-set Orientation: Rotating the Object Around the Object's Center Point
If you want to redefine or tweak the object's orientation, you may select the target icon next to the "Position" dropdown in the node you are working on to enable the positioning gizmo. Then, press "E" on the keyboard to switch to the rotation gizmo, which looks like a sphere with one blue, green, and red line. Select one of the lines and drag it up/down or side-to-side to rotate the object around the selected axis.
Adjusting a preset position only adjusts that preset for the scene you are currently working in. Meaning, any node in that scene will appear at the preset location with your tweaks. Other scenes will retain the original preset positions and orientations.
