Adding Spherical Video Assets
If you are creating a spherical video experience, you will create a scene in your main graph and refrain from adding a CG environment. Then, when you open that scene in the Graph Node Editor view, you can right-click and add a “Video Node.”
In order to add a video asset to your video node, you will need to add your video clips to the Assets folder in the project. There are two ways to do this.
Import Using the Unity Project Panel
- Select "Import" in the Asset Library Panel.
- This will open the Asset Import Window.
- Select "Import New". This will open up the Windows File Explorer.
- Navigate to where you have stored your videos.
- Select the videos.
- Once selected, click "Open" to import the videos into Unity.
- Once the assets have been imported, they will be selectable when you return to your Video Node.
Adding Videos via the Video Node
- Create a new Video Node.
- Select "Add Video Clip" via the dropdown.
- This will open up the Windows File Explorer.
- Navigate to where you have stored your videos.
- Select the videos.
- Once selected, click "Open" to import the videos into Unity.
- Once the assets have been imported, they will be selectable when you return to your Video Node.
Use the File Explorer to Copy the Assets into the CCK Asset Folder
- Open the File Explorer.
- Navigate to where you have stored your SkillsVR CCK folder.
- Select the "Assets" folder inside the CCK folder.
- Select the "Videos" folder inside the Assets folder.
- Create a new folder inside the Videos folder.
- Name the new folder.
- Copy and paste the video clip files into the new folder you created.
- When you open your CCK Unity project again, the assets will import and will be available to select when you return to your Video node.
