Add Character and Object Assets to Your CG Environment
Adding Assets to a Scene
When using SkillsVR-provided CG environments, it is simple to add characters or object assets into your scene:
- Browse and drag the asset from the Asset Library Window.
- Drag the asset into the Scene window.
In general, assets can be dropped anywhere in the scene. However, some assets are restricted as to where they can be placed, such as a character who may only be placed on the floor.
Layout Introduction
When adding assets, there are few windows you may need to browse and manage assets. The following image shows those windows with the default CCK layout.
- Asset Library (red area): Browse, drag, and import custom assets. See the Asset Library for more details.
- Scene View (purple area): GUI to select/move/rotate/scale assets in a scene.
- Asset Hierarchy (blue area): Lists all CCK assets in the scene with search, select, reset, and additional management functions.
If you are not using default CCK layout, the Asset Library and Asset Hierarchy can also be found in the SkillsVR CCK menu.

Import Assets
You may click on the import button on the toolbar to add assets to the CCK, including those which can become props. If the asset has the potential to become a prop, a window that configures the assets will appear.

- Interactable Prop is an object that can be detected by the Drag and Drop node, where its properties for picking up and placing are set.
